Description
One person, one trolley
Transfers usually happen with whoever is free, which means a trolley has to be manageable by one person. The gas spring takes the effort out of raising the backrest, the central steering wheel stops the trolley crabbing on long corridor runs, and the brakes are foot-operated from either side so staff do not have to crouch at a castor.
Rails and access
The side rails run the full length of the deck and drop clear of the mattress, which matters during a lateral transfer onto a bed or an imaging table. Corner bumpers absorb the knocks that trolleys take on door frames and lift entrances.
Equipment that travels with the patient
