Description
Sitting up while being carried
Patients who cannot lie flat are the reason this version exists. The backrest is part of the detachable stretcher rather than the base, so the angle is kept whether the patient is on the wheels or being carried through a space the trolley will not fit.
Lifting off the base
Chrome carrying handles at both ends give two people a firm grip, and the stretcher seats back onto the base without needing to be aligned by feel. The aluminium side rails keep weight down on a unit that gets lifted.
Base and transfers
The scissor-lift base cranks up and down so the trolley can be levelled with a bed, couch or table before a lateral transfer, which turns a lift into a slide. Four castors with brakes lock it at the bedside.
