Nursing remote and handheld control

The foot board carries a full nursing control panel, so a nurse can set every bed position from the end of the bed without leaning over the patient. A handheld remote clips onto the side rail for the patient or attendant, and the side rails have their own keypads. Every movement can be made from wherever the carer is standing.

Five motorized functions

Separate motors raise the backrest and knee rest for Fowler, semi-Fowler and cardiac chair positions, lift and lower the whole platform for safe transfers and comfortable working height, and tilt the bed head-down (Trendelenburg) or feet-down (reverse Trendelenburg) for shock management, surgery recovery and reflux care.

Four section ABS platform

The platform is split into backrest, seat, thigh and leg sections. Perforations let air circulate under the mattress and the smooth ABS surface wipes clean quickly between patients.

Rails, boards and castors

Four split ABS side rails give protection along both sides and lower out of the way for transfers and care. Moulded ABS head and foot boards with blue panels lift off for emergency access, and corner bumpers protect walls and doors. The bed runs on four castors with central brake pedals at both ends.

Where it is used

Intensive care units, cardiac and high dependency units, post-operative recovery, private rooms and long-stay home care where patients need frequent repositioning.
