Semi Fowler function, ward-bed fittings

This bed keeps the simplicity of a single crank but adds the safety and convenience features usually found on more expensive beds. It is well suited to private rooms, general wards, maternity recovery and nursing homes.

Backrest on a single crank

A crank handle at the foot end raises the backrest section smoothly to any angle, from flat to an upright sitting position, with no power supply needed.

Side rails, boards and storage

Collapsible aluminium side rails on stainless posts protect the patient and fold down for transfers and nursing care. The moulded ABS head and foot boards have integrated push handles for moving the bed and lift off for emergency access. The powder-coated steel platform has ventilation slots and wipes clean easily, a wire basket under the bed holds the patient’s belongings, and corner bumpers protect walls and door frames. Four castors with brakes complete the bed.
