Orthopaedic Traction Attachment for Operating Table – Price in Pakistan
Turns a general operating table into an orthopaedic one. The frame clamps to the table side rails and carries two padded boot holders on adjustable traction arms, a perineal post to counter the pull, and padded knee supports. Femoral nailing, hip fracture fixation and similar cases can then be done on the table the theatre already owns rather than buying a dedicated fracture table.
- Mounting: Clamps to operating table side rails
- Boot Holders: Two, padded, with securing straps
- Traction Arms: Adjustable, independently positioned
- Perineal Post: Padded, height adjustable
- Knee Supports: Padded, on sliding clamps
- Material: Stainless steel

Description
Instead of a dedicated fracture table
A purpose-built fracture table is a large capital item that sits idle between orthopaedic lists. A traction attachment gives most of the same capability on the general table, is stored on a shelf when not in use, and lets a hospital take on trauma work without committing a theatre to it.
How the traction is applied
The limb is secured in a padded boot and the traction arm draws it away from the body. The perineal post sits against the pelvis and takes the counter-force, which is what allows the pull to act on the fracture rather than simply sliding the patient down the table. Both boot holders adjust independently so the uninjured limb can be positioned clear of the imaging field.
Positioning and imaging
Every component sits on a sliding clamp along the frame rails, so the whole assembly is set to the patient rather than the patient to the assembly. The open frame construction leaves the fracture site clear for a C-arm to come in from either side.
Material
Stainless steel throughout, so the attachment is washed down between cases with no coating to chip on a component that is handled, clamped and moved constantly.
- Boot Holders: Two, padded, strapped
- Perineal Post: Padded, adjustable
- Knee Supports: Padded, sliding clamps
- Frame: Stainless steel, rail mounted
