Description
No bolts, no tools
A boltless bay is assembled by tapping the beam rivets into the teardrop slots with a mallet. There are no nuts, bolts or corner brackets to lose, which matters when a store is reconfigured more than once and when the people doing it are ward or stores staff rather than fitters.
Reconfiguring as stock changes
Because the slots run the full height of the upright, a shelf can be lifted and reset at almost any level. A bay laid out for cartons can be reset for tall items without replacing a single component, and the chipboard decks lift straight out for cleaning or replacement.
Building a run
Bays join side by side sharing a common upright, so a wall is filled in bays rather than as one fixed length and the run can be extended later.
