Simple, dependable manual sterilization

This horizontal double chamber autoclave is a straightforward, hand-operated steam sterilizer for hospitals, clinics and laboratories that want reliable results without the cost and complexity of vacuum or automatic controls. The operator controls each stage with hand valves and reads pressure directly from the gauges, so the machine is easy to learn, easy to maintain and well suited to sites with limited technical support.

Double chamber (jacketed) design

The sterilizing chamber sits inside an outer steam jacket. Steam fills the jacket first, heating the chamber walls, and is then passed into the inner chamber through the steam transfer line. Hot walls reduce condensation on the load, help instruments and packs come out drier and shorten the time between cycles. Separate pressure gauges on the jacket and the chamber show both readings at a glance, and a safety valve on each side releases excess pressure automatically.

Built-in steam generator

Steam is produced in an electric steam generator mounted beneath the chamber, so no external steam supply is needed. A clear water level gauge on the front of the generator shows the water level before each run, and a drain valve makes emptying and cleaning simple. The heater is switched from the electrical box mounted on the chamber.

Front-loading door and stainless steel build

The polished stainless steel door swings open on a heavy side hinge and is closed with hand-tightened clamps around the rim onto a heat-resistant gasket for a pressure-tight seal. The chamber, jacket and steam generator are made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning, and the whole unit sits on a sturdy tubular stainless steel stand with levelling feet.
