Description
Using the space under the couch
The volume under an examination couch is usually wasted. A full-width cabinet turns it into the room’s main storage, which in a small consulting room or a rural clinic may be the only enclosed storage available. Four doors means a section can be opened without exposing the whole contents.
Closed rather than open
Doors keep linen and dressing packs free of dust, and keep the room looking ordered with the patient sitting a metre away. Anything stored openly under a couch is also in the path of floor cleaning, which doors avoid.
Couch and frame
The backrest adjusts for examination flat or sitting up, the top is a padded deck under wipe-clean vinyl, and the frame is powder-coated tubular steel with floor protectors on the feet.
- Cabinet: Full width, four hinged doors
