Storage where the scrub happens

Scrub brushes and antiseptic solution run out mid-list, and when the stock is stored elsewhere someone leaves the area to fetch it. A cabinet directly under the trough keeps a working quantity at the sink, and locking it stops solution walking.

Pipework enclosed

A wall-hung trough leaves traps and supply pipes exposed at knee height, where they collect dust and are awkward to clean around. The cabinet encloses all of it behind flat doors that wipe down as one surface.

The LED light bar

The second photograph shows the optional LED bar on the splashback. It matters more than it looks: someone scrubbing stands with their back to the room lights and casts a shadow into their own hands and the trough. A light at the splashback puts illumination on the hands from the front, where the person actually needs to see what they are doing.

Taps and finish

Twin goosenecks give clearance for washing to the elbow. The apron is tapered with a kick recess at the base so staff stand close to the trough without knocking their feet against the cabinet.
